Co-Founder and Communications Director Debbie Bayes has extensive experience developing and implementing successful marketing communications campaigns. Fortune 100 companies, nonprofit organizations, associations, small businesses, startups and agencies have been among her diverse clientele. Debbie leads every client engagement.
She has arranged hundreds of media placements featured on national and local media outlets, in trade publications, websites and blogs. NBC’s Today Show, CNN, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Parents Magazine, Fortune, Bloomberg Businessweek, Newsweek, CEO Radio, AP, and New Jersey Monthly Magazine, are among the many notable ones.
A few of ZB Group’s clients over the years include Bristol Myers Products (now Bristol Myers Squibb), K. Hovnanian Homes, The Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute, The Committee of 200, The Horse Institute, Edye’s Naturals and Woolverton Inn.
Prior to ZB Group she managed programs for lifestyle and corporate accounts at Booke & Co. in New York City. Before Booke & Co., Debbie started her career in the Broadcast/Special Events Department at Dudley-Anderson-Yutzy (DAY), a leading NYC agency at the time that was acquired by Ogilvy. At these agencies she arranged and accompanied spokespeople on media tours including CEOs, an authentic gold digger, an Olympic medalist and country singer Irlene Mandrell, of the famous Mandrell sisters.
Debbie is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber. She is a supporter of Dress for Success of Central New Jersey – 7 Counties which empowers women in need to achieve economic independence by providing professional attire and workplace skills.
Debbie graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Marketing from the Whitman School of Management. She and her husband live in the Princeton area and are the parents of two adult sons.
