
Background
Edye’s Naturals, a skin care line derived from organic plant-based oils, was founded in 2009 by Edye Dumhart. When she couldn’t find a healing non-toxic product to help her sun-damaged skin she developed her own product and named it Edye’s Face & Body Butter. Today it is one of several in a line that treats dryness, rashes, minor burns, psoriasis, eczema and stretch marks, among other skin care concerns. Edye’s Naturals products contain vitamins, minerals and nutrients that are chemical-free and cruelty-free. Edye engaged ZB Group to increase visibility for her brand and connect with consumers by working with journalists, bloggers and influencers whose audiences aligned with her customer profile. We developed and implemented an effective outreach plan which included press materials (bio, backgrounder) to share her entrepreneurial story and products with the media.

We identified and coordinated an opportunity to demonstrate Edye’s support for a nonprofit. Dress For Success Central New Jersey provides programs and tools women need to thrive in work and in life. Edye provided a gift basket for a Silent Auction at “Cocktails For A Cause.” More than 200 community leaders, businesspeople and supporters attended.
